Builder Daily

The Manual

A short guide to what's in Builder Daily, how to navigate it, and the editorial rules behind every story.

What this site is

Builder Daily is a small daily-digest experiment focused on AI news that's actually useful to builders — Claude Code users, agent developers, and people deploying LLMs in production. It ships in 5 languages (English, 繁體中文, 简体中文, 日本語, 한국어), updates roughly once per day, and is read on phones more than laptops.

Every story ends with a Practitioner Note — a 2-3 sentence statement of what the author would actually do in response to the news. If you only read the practitioner note, you've gotten 80% of the value.

The six sections

Editorial rules

Sources required. Every story has at least one verifiable source URL. No anonymous quotes. No unsourced claims.
Practitioner notes are first-person. They describe what I would do, not what "you" should do. If a note doesn't pass the "would I actually do this?" test, the story is rewritten or dropped.
No hype. If a release is a marketing post with no shipping artifact, it doesn't get covered. Working code, public benchmarks, or measurable customer adoption is the bar.
Bilingual parity. English and 繁體中文 versions are paired and ship together. The other 3 languages mirror EN with localized titles.
One digest per day. No mid-day "breaking news" updates. If something breaks at 3 PM, it goes in tomorrow's digest with proper context.

How to navigate

Three ways to find what you need:

Top sub-header bar. Always-visible link to all 6 sections. The current section is highlighted with an underline.
Tags. Click any tag on a story (like #mcp or #nvfp4) to see every story with that tag, across the whole archive.
Cross-section block. Each section page ends with a "Browse other sections" block — the fastest way to switch context without scrolling back to the top.

What's not on the site

No login. No paywall. No newsletter pop-up. No comments (yet). No tracking beyond first-party Vercel Web Analytics. No third-party JavaScript except the analytics scripts. Reading is the only thing this site asks you to do.

Support

If a story saved you an hour, the yellow ☕ button in the header (or the floating one in the corner) goes to a Buy Me a Coffee tip jar. That's the only revenue model. There are no plans for advertising or paid tiers.
